العيش مرتين

قال صلى الله عليه وسلم:
“إذا مات ابن آدم انقطع عمله إلا من ثلاث: صدقة جارية، أو علم ينتفع به، أو ولد صالح يدعو له”. رواه الإمام مسلم.
ليس كل الناس يستطيعون الصدقة الجارية، وليس كل الناس لديهم العلم ينفعون به الناس، ولكن أغلب الناس يرزقون بالولد…
هذا حثٌ نبوي على إدراك قيمة الولد أنه من الأثر بعدك فإن أنت أحسنت تربيته ذكرا كان أم أنثى إمتدت حسناتك حتى الى ما بعد مماتك.
وعليه، بمجرد أن يُرزق الإنسان بمولود يجب أن يدرك أن حياته ما عادت لزمانه بل لزمان ولده من بعده وكأنك تعيش عمرين.
فانظر أخي وأختي رعاكم الله ماذا تتركون لأبنائكم وبناتكم! هل تتركون لهم وسائل الحياة في الدنيا فقط من مال وجاه أم أنكم فقهتم أنكم مسؤولون عن تأمين وسائل المرور الى الآخرة من قرآن وسنة وأخلاق ودين!

Living Twice

The Prophet SAAW said: “If son of Adam died, all his deeds will be at halt except for a continuous Sadaqah and a beneficial knowledge and a righteous child making dua for him.” Hadith narrated by Imam Muslim

I assume not all people have money to donate and not all people have the knowledge to teach others but most people will be enjoying children and indeed, this Hadith urges us to understand the value of our kids that they are of our extension in life and that because of them our good deeds can continue after we depart from this life

From here you need to understand that when you are granted children you need to know that your life is not just about you only but also about them as if you are living twice

So watch out dear brother and sister to that which you leave your children with! Are you leaving them only matters of survival in this life like wealth and position or are you giving them tools of survival that will cause them to be saved in the Hereafter too like Quran and Sunnah and knowledge and Deen?
