O my Lord! Open for me my chest

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي

Rabb-ishrah li sadri, wa yassir li ‘amri, Wah-lul ‘uqdatam-min-li-saani, Yaf-qahuu qawlii

O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness); Ease my task for me; And remove the impediment from my speech, so they may understand what I say
[Surah Ta-Ha; 20:25-28]
A du’a that Musa (alayhis salam) made when proceeding to the court of Fir’awn (Pharoah) for the arguments (inviting him to Islam)

  1. Mashallah very beautiful and useful duwa

  2. You have a FAT’HA on your BA in “RABB”
    It’s supposed to be a KASRA! 😉

  3. mashaallah.may God bless you.

  4. I don’t understand… What is the concept of giving likes or otherwise… Stars… Rating and votes to something that is Holy and sacred… They are all most beautiful du’aas and verses…. Supplication and power of supplication depends on the one making the supplication, the sincerity with which he remembers Allah swt…. And Allah swt…

  5. When and how many times should we recite it?

  6. Good lesson for everyone
